Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Inspects and operates electrical systems and components to diagnose defects and malfunctions.
- Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and construction of electrical equipment and systems found in a commercial setting through the proper use of standard cable wire, conduit, fittings, and hardware commonly used in settings.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Replace faulty electrical components including relays and switches
- Requisition parts and equipment
- Maintains records and reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Texas Apprentice Electrician License or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Current Driver's License (Required)
Job Site Working Conditions
- Must be physically able to stand and work for extended periods of time, while carrying required personal tool set (approximately 30 pounds).
- Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds as needed on job site.
- Ability to climb ladders of all types and work overhead as projects requires.
- Possess good vision at all times (normal or corrected).
- Ability to work in all exterior/interior elements such as heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
