We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in Midlothian, TX. As a Sales Manager with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you are an individual contributor with territory management and basic technical responsibilities. The overall responsibilities of this role are to develop and sustain a business strategy designed to gain or protect market share for accounts in the territory, provide basic technical service to Quikrete Cement customers and lead the marketing and sales efforts within the sales territory, as well as to monitor the quality and performance of Quikrete and competitive products in the territory.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
Creates clear business strategy for key accounts & channels (e.g. increase share, account penetration, protect existing base, etc.)
Develops revenue and product goals which are realistic and achievable.
Understands how to deliver value to customers - with a key emphasis on the bulk cement channel.
Identifies and understands competitive landscape.
Develops plans to maximize potential of accounts, uses good account management practices, implements District Strategies (i.e. price attainment).
Promotes the use of Quikrete Cement products in the territory, with an emphasis on the bulk cement business.
Provides basic technical assistance and utilizes resources as needed to satisfy product and service issues with regards to trouble shooting.
Provides training and education for customers.
Gathers territory intelligence on all customers, competitors, and potential customers and maintains a realistic succession pipeline of customers that can be sold if other volumes
are lost.
Develops, maintains and strengthens customer relationships.
Represent Quikrete and participates actively in trade associations as required.
Develops an effective call planning system to ensure adequate coverage. This includes future CRM population and usage.
Identify service and product improvement opportunities.
Utilized Quikrete systems to maintain accurate forecasts, pricing, expense, and future CRM
reporting.
Manage working capital goals via meeting DSO and SG&A objectives.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
About You
We Require:
4 year degree in related field
5 years of field sales experience (building materials supply or associated industries)
geographic / territory understanding.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to gain information on market pricing trends through relationships with customers.
- Possessing intermediate to advanced computer skills are a must as there will be bidding and entering customer pricing data.
- Basic Microsoft office product knowledge, CMD data knowledge preferred. Drivers License is required.
