Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our team in Harleyville, South Carolina. As an Electrical Supervisor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible you will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all electrical, automation, and control systems supporting continuous cement production. The role combines technical leadership, asset management, safety compliance, and strategic planning.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for optimizing and maintaining instruments, ensuring proper utilization and reliability.
• Maintain plant electrical standards.
• Promote new upgrades and features to assist plant performance.
• Assist in developing and maintaining plant reports.
• Assist in design, monitor and actively act upon preventative maintenance programs.
• Initiates, authorizes, and schedules routine contract work and is responsible for ensuring administrative functions for appropriate cost control are in place, such as providing the scope of work to the vendor and approving purchase order requisitions and maintaining a cost control spread sheet for budget control purposes.
• Perform follow-up inspections post repair and/or new installations of equipment.
• Assists in ensuring conformance with Automation, IT, and corporate guidelines.
• Provide technical expertise in specific areas of the cement plant, communicating effectively to various levels.
• Assists in ensuring the entering of new equipment numbers and ensures the updating of equipment parts catalog.
• Assists in the budgeting process, providing advice in planning and scheduling of major of more costly electrical activities.
• Generate maintenance KPIs which measure the effectiveness of the electrical roles. Publishes the maintenance KPIs monthly, analyzes them and suggests ways to improve performance.
• Responsible for all housekeeping and organization of all electrical substations and maintenance shops.
• Ensure proactive electrical analysis is present at process, coordination, and reliability meetings.
Remain active and knowledgeable in current safety regulations and guidelines, promoting overall plant safety. This includes implementing and managing the Quikrete Safety Program.

About You

We Require:

• 5 or more years' experience in industrial process systems or education equivalency
• Electrical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written English required.
• Must be able and willing to perform as a team member and within a team environment.
• Possess solid leadership skills.
• Be a motivated, self-starter, proactive and action oriented by character.
• Ability to meet on-call responsibilities associated with a 24/7 plant operation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings to include physical, background check, and drug screen.
• Preferred: Post secondary level education from a two-year college, technical school, or equivalent program
• Proven background in a similar role within a cement / production-oriented environment
