One of our clients is seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing onsite team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for an individual looking to gain hands-on experience in B2B software sales, prospecting, lead qualification, and sales pipeline development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in generating qualified opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and supporting the sales team in driving business growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Research and build targeted prospect lists aligned with the company's ideal customer profile.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to engage prospective customers.
  • Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.
  • Utilize sales engagement and CRM tools to manage prospect interactions and follow-up activities.
  • Engage and re-engage both cold and warm prospects through strategic outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain target audience databases.
  • Support direct mail campaigns, industry events, and in-person marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to improve lead generation and conversion processes.
  • Identify and recommend new strategies to enhance top-of-funnel lead acquisition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions.


Required Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospects.
  • Ability to understand customer pain points and effectively communicate potential solutions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for technology, customer engagement, and sales excellence.
  • Previous internship or experience in sales, customer service, business development, or support roles is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools is advantageous.
  • Interest in pursuing a long-term career in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
