Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy, strategic, and hands-on Director of Sales to lead our sales and marketing efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive double-digit growth, while building and mentoring a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in contract metal manufacturing and a passion for delivering exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting key industries and customer segments in custom metal fabrication. Grow topline 20 plus percent in 2026
- Develop a minimum of 2 new strategic customers in 2026
- Lead front-line sales efforts including prospecting, qualification, forecasting and budgeting
- Manage multiple sales channels including direct sales, digital outreach and strategic partnerships
- Utilize CRM tools and sales technologies to drive pipeline visibility and conversion efficiency
Customer Relationships & Experience
- Champion a client-first sales culture focused on long-term relationships and satisfaction
- Leverage industry contacts to adapt sales strategies to changing market conditions
- Personally manage key accounts and high-value opportunities
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee digital marketing, SEO and content strategies to generate leads and enhance brand visibility
- Collaborate on branding initiatives that position QuikCut as a leader in precision metal fabrication
Estimating & Quoting
- Align quoting processes with sales goals and customer expectations
- Implement tools and processes to improve quote accuracy, speed, and win rates
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure feasibility and profitability of quotes
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and structure a high-impact sales team aligned with company growth goals
- Coach, mentor and hold team members accountable to performance standards
- Foster collaboration between sales, estimating and operations to ensure seamless client handoffs
- Support and promote company core values
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- 5 years of sales experience in contract manufacturing or custom metal fabrication
- Travel up to 30%
Preferred
- 3 years in a sales supervisor role with proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, metal finishing and assembly processes
- Experience using ERP, M1, and quotation tools including Paperless Parts
- Experience with CRM, Pipedrive, and digital marketing tools
- Sandler Sales Training or similar methodology experience
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in day-to-day sales and quoting activities
