The Front Desk Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, checking in and out patients, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves providing exceptional customer service, coordinating with clinical staff, and ensuring a smooth and professional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in scheduling and managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and using medical practice software
- Outstanding verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of front desk or administrative tasks such as phone handling and greeting patients professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in a healthcare setting, while not required, is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in healthcare administration is advantageous
