We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate guest records and process payments securely
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating via phone or email
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Ensure front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services is preferred
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs diplomatically
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to serve an international clientele
- Knowledge of hospitality management practices, including night audit procedures and resort operations, is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to phone etiquette
