Fleet Manager – Quick Key Rentals (Columbia, MD)
Quick Key Rentals is a growing car rental company in Columbia, MD with a fleet of about 20 vehicles, from sedans and SUVs to Mercedes. We're looking for a hands-on Fleet Manager to keep every car clean, safe, and on the road.
What you'll do
- Keep the fleet rent-ready: inspections, cleaning, and quality checks between rentals
- Schedule and track oil changes, brakes, tires, and Maryland state inspections
- Coordinate repairs with our mechanics and body shops, and follow up until each car is back in service
- Get newly purchased cars ready to rent: repairs, inspection, tag and title, GPS trackers
- Keep vehicle status, mileage, and expenses up to date in our rental software (HQ Rentals)
- Handle vehicle check-ins and check-outs, damage photos, and fuel and mileage checks
- Help with accidents, towing, and insurance paperwork when needed
- Look for ways to cut downtime and keep more cars rented
What we're looking for
- Experience in fleet, dealership, auto service, or car rental operations
- Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort working with repair shops
- Organized, reliable, and good at follow-through
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Comfortable with smartphones, spreadsheets, and simple software
Pay and schedule: $21–$24 per hour, full-time, flexible schedule.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
