Dermatology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Issaquah, WA ***Occasionally will float to the other Dermatology Group offices in First Hill, West Seattle, and Bellevue***- Schedule: 5x8hr, 0800-1700 (Mon-Fri, occasional weekend shift MAX 5 per contract)- Experience: At least 6 months of Adult Outpatient Clinic setting is preferred, pulmonary experience is preferred.- First-timers accepted: Yes- Weekend REQ: No- Is on-call REQ? No- Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ:----------Vital Signs: Obtain vital signs----------Prepare for Exam: Record history/medications/allergies----------Set Up and Assist with Procedures: Biopsy, Dressing change, Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays----------Specimen Collection: Labeling of specimens, Wound----------Office Duties: Authorization Forms, Chart preparation, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling patient appointments----------Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic technique, Suture removal- Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes, as needed within skillset between sister clinic locations (see above)- Locals accepted: Yes, considered local within 50-mile radius of clinic- RTO Accepted: Yes, must be presented upon submission.- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)Special Notes- Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions.
