Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery in a production environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and machine operation standards.
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks and operate equipment safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in machine operation or manufacturing technology.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor machine repairs and adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production line equipment and machines to maintain continuous production flow.
- Set up and adjust production machinery according to specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify product dimensions and quality standards.
- Document production data, machine performance, and any incidents or maintenance activities accurately.
- Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
