One of the premier non-profit, member-owned Life and Annuity carriers, in business for over 100 years, is adding an internal Wholesaler to their team while they experience high growth on the Life Insurance side.
This is a key sales support role responsible for assisting in the recruitment and development of independent agents within our premier financial services network. This position focuses on managing warm leads, driving sales lifecycle from prospecting to policy issuance, and partnering with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to maximize regional sales activity.
The ideal candidate will combine strong insurance product knowledge with proactive sales support skills to help grow the independent agent channel.

Key Responsibilities
- Agent Recruitment & Development: Recruit, onboard, and develop independent agents into our financial services network. Build and maintain strong advisor relationships through product expertise and consistent support.
- Sales Process Management: Manage warm leads provided by RSMs or generated through coordinated cold-calling efforts. Guide agents through the sales process, from prospecting to policy submission and issuance.
- Sales Support & Coordination: Partner closely with RSMs to fill calendars, coordinate meetings, and support regional life events. Prepare agendas, presentations, and sales materials as needed.
- Policy Lifecycle Support: Assist with policy administration, application tracking, and issue resolution in collaboration with New Business Operations and other internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing to ensure timely and accurate communication materials. Partner with Operations to resolve client and agent issues efficiently.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Adhere to the company's Enterprise Risk Management Framework, complete all required training, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Special Projects: Support team initiatives and complete assigned projects to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Active insurance license (Life & Health) highly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in the financial services or insurance industry, with exposure to life insurance products and independent agent distribution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and electronic application platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- 5 years in financial services with direct sales or internal wholesaling experience.
- Proven track record of supporting independent agents or advisors.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like SharePoint.
- This role can be hybrid in-office in the Western PA area, or fully remote role
- Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or training.
