The Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner to clients and Account Executives, owning the day-to-day service experience for an assigned book of business. You’ll help design and deliver employee benefit strategies while building strong, lasting relationships.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a primary client contact, delivering proactive and personalized service
- Partner with Account Executives on benefit strategy, renewals, RFPs, and plan design
- Lead Open Enrollment, employee education, and client communications
- Prepare stewardship reports, utilization/claims analyses, and service plans
- Support compliance, wellness initiatives, and benefit technology implementations
- Build strong carrier and vendor relationships
- Stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance client programs
- 5 years of employee benefits account management experience
- Active California Life/Health license
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Professional designation (or willingness to obtain within 18 months)
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AMS 360/ImageRight experience a plus
- Hybrid schedule (2–3 days in office)
