This is a full-time position based out of our Orlando office.

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Create an implement a comprehensive grants strategy to support Quest, Inc’s priorities in Central Florida and Tampa
  • Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with all funding guidelines and deadlines
  • Oversee a portfolio of approximately 50-70 grants including corporate, foundation and government funders as primary sources of grant revenue
  • Collect and organize relevant data to be used for necessary grant tracking and reporting
  • Identify, research and cultivate potential donors who can support new and ongoing program initiatives
  • Work in partnership with grantors to maintain current grant funding.
  • Responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with current and potential funders
  • Responsible for accurately interpreting and analyzing budgetary data to support the grants process
  • Oversee the budgeting, tracking, and reporting of grant funds
  • Monitor and evaluate program achievement against target goals, recommending modifications that respond to organizational goals
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with grant requirements and recommend corrective actions, if necessary
  • Monitor and manage reports and documents associated with grant-funded programs, ensuring internal compliance and satisfaction
  • Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on occasion

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or nonprofit management with a master’s degree preferred or
  • 7-10 years’ experience in a non-profit organization working with grants can substitute for education
  • 5 years of experience in grant writing and grant management.
  • Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future

Preferred:

  • Knowledge & experience with government grant programs such as Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and FDOT/LYNX 5310 Program
  • Knowledge in grant management software and tools (Instrumentl, iWave/Kindsight and Bloomerang)
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite
