What You Will Do
- Support the resourcing effort of complete bill of materials from an internal supplier for parts and processes to external approved suppliers following customer required Gated Supplier Transition Work Transfer process.
- Support dual sourcing effort of parts with long lead times or problematic delivery issues.
- Manage demand overlap transition plan between locations to ensure appropriate demand is being covered by supplier(s)
- Work with supply chain regarding material management requirements (ensuring timeliness and containment) for parts requiring First Article Inspection.
- Support the execution of transition activities by following well defined project plan
- Act as the primary focal or point of contact related to transition efforts, reporting directly to leadership
- Coordinate with site leadership, engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure readiness for transition activities.
- Support onsite visits, audits, or meetings related to the transition, including interactions with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation, trackers, and status reports to support visibility and transparency across stakeholders.

- Typically requires a 4 year Degree and minimum 4 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with similar experience
- 3-4 experience with a procedurally gated process for transitioning work transfer a plus
- SAP experience a plus
- Aerospace program management experience a plus
- Flexible and ability to adapt to multi-cultural and quick changing environment
- Able to multi-task with a “can-do” attitude.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with a strong focus on excel and project
- Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a US Citizen

Work Requirements
This role is an on-site position located in Rockford, ILL
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
