What You Will Do
- Coordinate with Cross functional Team and identify the Design requirements and plan the Tollgates
- Prepare Design review slides and present in Review Tollgates
- Connect with Engineering, Supplier, Manufacturing and Sourcing team to finalize the Design
- Circulate reports to stakeholder as required
- Work on Requisitions, Modifications and Development Programs
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Cab or Platform component Design & Development of Heavy Equipment
- Able to analyze shop issues and provide solutions
- Should have worked on Concept generation using idea generation methods
- Have good knowledge on validation process of components.
- Have good knowledge on New component introduction process.
- Should have worked in FMEA, Validation & Verification plan.
- Able to analyze shop issues and provide solutions.
- Strong knowledge in Engineering standards followed [ANSI,ISO,ASTM]
- Good oral / written communication skill, English proficiency, MS office proficiency
- GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, DFA/DFM/DFS.
- Should have worked with cross-functional team of Designers, Engineers,
- Manufacturing, Sourcing, Field service and external consulting engineering teams.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in NX 10 or above with Teamcenter knowledge
- Good in drawing reading skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and machining process. Skills required
- ANSI /ASME specification knowledge.
- Manufacturing/Shop floor exposure.
- Quality & Inspection measuring equipment knowledge. Personal soft skills
- Good in Communication

This role is considered an on-site position located in Erie, PA
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
