Role Description

This is an on-site/remote long term contract role for an Electrical Design Engineer located in Longmont, CO. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and reviewing electrical designs, conducting detailed analysis, working on power distribution systems, and supporting design engineering projects. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards, develop technical documentation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and applications
- Understanding of Electricity and related systems
- Experience with Power Distribution systems design and analysis
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with industry-specific software and tools is a plus
- Experience in Electrical Design and Design Engineering is a plus
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, such as NEC and IEEE standards
