What You Will Do:

• Candidates will help customers troubleshoot and resolve issues. They will provide technical support to the triaging team on the same.
• Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site or remotely.
• Interact directly with the customer on site or remotely.
• Write PLC code for semi-complex systems utilizing standard practices.
• Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.
• Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.
• Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.

What You Will Bring:

• Candidates will have a minimum of 4-8 years' experience in controls engineering.
• Qualified candidates are proficient in project planning, creating schematic and electrical layout drawings, working with PLCs and HMIs, and implementation and commissioning of engineering design projects.
• Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers. Expertise with Allen Bradley, Schneider Unity, or Siemens TIA Portal required.
• Must demonstrate a working understanding of design, layout and use of current networks such as Profibus, ASi, and Ethernet.
• Experience in writing descriptions of operations and developments of controls based physical layouts is expected.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage numerous opportunities and deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with material handling systems is preferred.
• 4-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of responsibilities as presented above.
• Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable
• Bachelor's Degree or equal in a related discipline

Pay Range: $48 - $55 per hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. 

Work Requirements:

This position is classified as Remote within the United States.

Travel Requirements:

Due to the nature of the work, upto 5% of travel may be required.
