Hotline Customer Service Representative
Multiple shift times available: 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm and 4pm-12am
$18/ Per hour
Must be able to work one weekend day (you will have off 1 weekend day 1 day during week M-F)
Will train in office then work remote from home
Position Description
- CSR in a 24/7 call center environment for a national insurance adjusting company. Incoming calls from various contacts for branch locations will be handled or transferred to voicemail. Primarily handles accident loss reports for various insurance companies: taking the details of the loss, assigning the most appropriate branch location for immediate response if needed, coordinating on-scene calls between adjusters and clients.
- The atmosphere is quick to change from very slow/quiet to highly charged, with high-stress situations that need quick decisions. MUST have the ability to work closely with others as a group.
- Ability to make split-minute decisions; the ability to distinguish between a critical situation that needs immediate attention and a run of the mill call about a policy question or simple follow up question.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written, verbal and listening skills. Basic computer skills and experience using a multi-line phone (logging into a CSR phone queue, placing people on hold, transferring calls) are a definite plus.
- Flexibility is a must-have in a 24/7 environment.
- Spanish bilingual CSR a plus but not required.
