Education, Training, and Experience: High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Custodial experience in school setting. DOCUMENT(S) REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION: High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, foreign equivalency, etc.). Current CPR EXAMPLES OF ASSIGNED WORK AREAS: Quest Preparatory Academies (i.e., classrooms, restrooms, corridors, cafeteria, offices, grounds etc.),
The list of Essential Duties and Responsibilities is not exhaustive and may be supplemented. 1. Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures 2. Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc. 3. Set up/ break down cafeteria tables for breakfast and lunch 3B. Clean tables, sweep and mop floors. 4. Cleans floors by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, or scrubbing. 5. Cleans, dusts, and polishes woodwork, furniture, glass, and other items. 6. Services soap dispensers, towel boxes, and similar containers. 7. Empties and cleans wastepaper baskets and other refuse containers. 8. Cleans chalkboards, trays, and erasers. (at teacher discretion) 9. Moves and adjusts chairs, desks, tables, supplies, furniture, and equipment. 10. Strips, seals, and waxes floors. 10. Must have knowledge of safety drills (fire, shelter in place, hard and soft lock downs) 11. Removes spots and graffiti from floors, walls, woodwork, furniture, carpets, outside and fixtures. 12. Washes and scrubs walls, lavatory fixtures, windows, drinking fountains, drains, lights, light fixtures, and painted surfaces. 13. May be required to move, assemble or disassemble furniture, equipment, or other items, or to assist other crafts in an emergency, or as the need arises. 14. Conforms to safety standards, as prescribed. 15. Performs other tasks related to the position, as assigned. .
