Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong Microsoft Azure expertise to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, DevOps, automation, cloud security, and enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
Required Skills:
• 5 years of IT experience with 3 years of Microsoft Azure experience
• Strong expertise in Azure Compute (VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure Functions)
• Experience with Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateway)
• Strong knowledge of Azure Storage, Azure AD, RBAC, and IAM
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Strong understanding of cloud security, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, encryption, and governance
• Experience implementing DevOps practices and automation
Preferred Skills:
• AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 certifications
• AWS or Google Cloud Platform exposure
• FinOps and cloud cost optimization experience
• Experience in Oil & Gas environments
• Enterprise cloud migration and modernization experience
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement Azure cloud architectures
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC
• Manage cloud security, compliance, and governance
• Optimize cloud performance, availability, and cost
• Support hybrid cloud networking and connectivity
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
