💼 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Database Manager with strong expertise in InterSystems IRIS / Cache to support cloud modernization and database centralization initiatives for a Health Management System (HMS).
🔧 Key Responsibilities
✔ Manage and optimize InterSystems IRIS & Cache databases
✔ Lead database centralization and consolidation initiatives
✔ Execute database migrations (on-prem → cloud)
✔ Design backup strategies & disaster recovery plans
✔ Optimize database performance (queries, indexing, configurations)
✔ Implement automation using scripting tools
✔ Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
🔹 10 years of experience as a Database Manager
🔹 Strong expertise in InterSystems IRIS & Cache databases
🔹 5 years of cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
🔹 Experience with cloud migration strategies & database services
🔹 Proven experience in large-scale database consolidation
🔹 Strong performance tuning and optimization skills
🔹 Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
🔹 Knowledge of DevOps practices & CI/CD pipelines
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
✔ InterSystems IRIS Certification (System Administration Specialist preferred)
