What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endpoint Services Software Engineer position at Que Technology Group?
Que Technology Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced Endpoint Services Software Engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The position involves full life cycle design, development, testing, and documentation of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics.
- The focus will include the extension and customization of tools used for classification string validation and comparison for access control.
- This position requires an individual with a software development background that can perform both development and enhance testing.
- Provide input throughout the software lifecycle and follow established development processes.
- Improve testing at all levels and work with system engineers to document the processes.
- Have working knowledge of JavaScript, Jest, and Cypress
- Required to actively participate in code reviews
- Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications documents
- Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements.
- Assist in the development of requirements for new features
- Ability to create and expand unit and functional tests
- Experience with creating/updating system engineering and test documentation
- Follow team procedures and standard practices
Required Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience as a software engineer. An additional four years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of seven years.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
