What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mixer Operator position at QUATTRO FOODS?
Job Summary:
- Follows formulas and procedures as set by 151 Foods
- Mix dough’s strictly adhering to food safety rules and policy’s
- Protects ingredients and dough from cross contamination
- Ensures no one places anything into the mixer other than the person responsible for that mix.
- Use FIFO (First In First Out) for lot numbers when using ingredients
- Cleans and sanitize mixers after use, as instructed by the company
- Reports issues including product safety and dough quality
- Report ingredient storage cross contamination to Line Lead or Production Supervisor
- Responsible to properly rotate ingredients
- Responsible for filling out paperwork correctly
- Know where emergency STOP, and START/STOP buttons are located
- Responsible for notifying Supervisor and/or Line Lead of any problems or concerns.
- Follow all company’s GMP procedures
- Perform all special requests by the Supervisor or Line Leader
- Support without hesitation General Plant Safety, Food Safety, Food Defense Initiatives and Good Manufacturing Practices with an understanding that these are absolutes and are Priority #1.
Physical Demands:
Work requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting overhead. Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds over head.
Work Environment:
Working around power equipment, slippery floors and dusty areas. Very hot conditions during summer seasons. Protective clothing such as uniform and slip resistant shoes are required.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or equivalency
* Minimum of 1 year experience mixing in a manufacturing environment.
*Food manufacturing experience preferred.
