What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Home Installer position at Quartz Transport?
I'm looking to hire a crew member for our manufactured home installation crew. Our company is near Florence, SC and we install manufactured homes throughout the Coastal and Central Carolinas. Experience with manufactured homes would be nice, but it isn't required. We've got a strong team and a strong line of business and I need one more person on the team. If you have construction experience and/or carpentry skills, are hardworking, dedicated, communicate well, can join the team and begin learning/contributing seamlessly, you will do well in this role.
Installing mobile and manufactured homes is very unique. Every job and site is different. You'll get to use some pretty cool machines and be part of a solid team. Responsibilities:
- Install mobile homes from start to finish (operating machinery, building piers, leveling and anchoring home, etc.).
- Carpentry work such as drywall, decking, vinyl skirting installation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues or challenges that arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in Manufactured Home installation is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with carpentry, and hand and power tools
- Familiarity with manufactured home installation machinery like a Tug, Jadde, and Platypus.
- Good with machines and truck repair is a big plus
- Ability to read and interpret manufactured home installation guides
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Punctuality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
