Overview - Quartz Transport and Install is a Turnkey mobile home installation company. We are opening a new location covering the Coastal and Central Carolinas. I need a new set-up Crew Leader to get us started and grow with us. Someone with true mobile home setting and leadership experience, who can help build and train a team, is very experienced in mobile home setting/logistics, and knows how to operate a Tug, Jadde and Platypus. I need someone who can execute a plan on set-up day, be relied upon, and put together a team of installers that operate like a well-oiled machine.
Duties- Participate in installations and lead the set crew installing mobile homes in the Central and Coastal Carolinas.
- Supervise installation teams, delegate work, and provide guidance as needed.
- Help build and train the set crew (bonus referrals given if you help recruit team members).
- Inspect work progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
- No two jobs are the same, and there is always an unexpected surprise transporting and setting a mobile home so you need to be able to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installations.
Qualifications- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE INSTALLING MOBILE HOMES AND USING MOBILE HOME MACHINES LIKE TUG, PLATYPUS, AND JADDE.
- You have to be a good leader - someone who can manage time, manage the job, manage the team.
- You have to be trustworthy and independent. I want to hire someone who can jump right in and instinctively know what to do and how to build a cohesive team.
- Need to be creative and safely navigate spotting a home through various terrain and soil conditions.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in installations.
