What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horse Groom position at Quartet Farms LLC?
HELP WANTED ASAP!
ISO someone reliable (!!) with horse experience to groom, turnout, tack up/untack 2-3 hunter/jumper horses per day in the early hours (5:30ish to 7/7:30) during the summer to avoid the heat. You would need to feed 3x a day and clean 2x a day and have basic ranch hand/maintenance skills to work around our one acre property.
Must have basic horse knowledge to recognize signs of illness or injury in case there is an emergency.
Work would be 4-5 hours per day, and as long as all of it gets done, the schedule in the afternoon is flexible. ** I don't mind hiring more than one person so that the shifts can be divided and so that there is someone on standby if a co-worker is sick! **
You would be taking care of three semi-retired older horses, a show horse, and two small ponies, all of whom are who are wonderful to work with.
Wanting to find someone who will love our little herd as much as we do! Competitive hourly pay!
