Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain the appearance of floors.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established protocols.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to perform floor care tasks effectively, including buffing and maintaining various types of flooring.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Capability to work independently while also being a team player when required.
- Good time management skills to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently.
