Position Overview
At Quarter French, hospitality begins long before the first drink is poured or the first plate reaches the table. It begins with the welcome.
We're looking for individuals who understand that a genuine greeting, thoughtful communication, and attention to detail can shape a guest's entire experience. As a Host, you'll be the first and last impression of Quarter French, creating a warm, organized, and welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive until they leave.
Beyond greeting guests, you'll help manage the rhythm of the dining room by coordinating reservations, communicating with the service team, and ensuring every guest feels acknowledged, valued, and cared for. Your ability to balance hospitality with organization will play an essential role in creating seamless service throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What you will do:
Hospitality & Guest Experience
- Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
- Create an inviting first impression that reflects the values and atmosphere of Quarter French.
- Escort guests to their tables while introducing them to the restaurant in a warm and natural manner.
- Thank guests sincerely as they depart and help ensure every visit ends as positively as it began.
- Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and composure.
Dining Room Coordination
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest arrivals with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate seating to support balanced service and an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain awareness of table status, reservation timing, and dining room flow.
- Communicate effectively with managers, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff throughout service.
- Assist in accommodating special occasions, accessibility needs, and guest preferences whenever possible.
- Answer phones professionally and assist with reservations and general guest inquiries.
Restaurant Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance.
- Ensure menus, reservation materials, and guest-facing areas remain organized and presentable.
- Help maintain the overall appearance of the dining room throughout service.
- Complete opening, running, side work, and closing responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
Team Collaboration
- Support fellow team members wherever needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Maintain positive communication with all departments throughout service.
- Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and solution-oriented work environment.
- Take ownership of the overall guest experience—not just the front door.

We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time team members. Scheduling flexibility is appreciated, though we strive to build schedules that support a healthy work-life balance whenever possible.
