Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Payment domain expertise to lead and deliver strategic payment-related initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing projects involving payment processing, merchant acquiring, cards, ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, or digital payment platforms. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to deployment.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Technology, QA, and Operations.
- Lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Drive requirement gathering, solution design reviews, and UAT activities.
- Manage vendor and client communications for payment-related initiatives.
- Track project metrics, milestones, and reporting.
Required Skills
- 10 years of IT experience with 5 years as a Project Manager.
- Strong experience in Payments Domain:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Merchant Acquiring
- Payment Gateways
- ACH, Wire Transfers
- SWIFT
- RTP (Real-Time Payments)
- ISO 20022
- Digital Payments
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with banking or financial services clients.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in payments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
