Job Summary
Client is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Machine Operator to operate CNC lathes for manufacturing precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate should have experience with machine setup, blueprint reading, precision inspection, and maintaining tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC Turning Machines (CNC Lathes).
- Perform basic machine setup, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and required tolerances.
- Record production and inspection data.
- Follow AS9100 quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating CNC Turning Machines/CNC Lathes.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, or Siemens CNC controls is preferred.
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is a plus.
