Position Overview:
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Adobe AEM Engineer to join our digital experience team. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate is eager to learn enterprise-level content management systems, has a foundational knowledge of web technologies, and is passionate about developing scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
- The candidate should have strong communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role involves gathering and clarifying technical and business requirements, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, and providing regular status updates and progress reports to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and customization of websites, components, templates, and workflows using Adobe AEM.
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and business stakeholders to implement digital solutions.
- Assist in building reusable AEM components and integrating third-party services.
- Debug, test, and document code to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Learn and apply AEM best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups as part of the agile team.
- Provide technical support for AEM-related issues in development, QA, and production environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency in AEM Cloud development, customization, and configuration
- In-depth knowledge of AEM architecture, including Assets, Sling APIs, Sites API, Content Delivery API, GraphQL APIs, Schedulers, OSGi services, and workflows.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Proven experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM) or a related field, preferably in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of DAM principles, practices, and technologies.
- Familiarity with metadata standards and taxonomy management within DAM systems.
- Hands-on engineer with expertise in developing complex, large-scale enterprise applications.
- Experience in capacity planning, continuous performance improvements, and proactive issue identification.
- Extensive technology and business experience in architecture design, deployment, systems life cycle management, and infrastructure planning.
- Ability to balance multiple, often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Solid foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms, with strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience working on customer-facing products with a focus on quality and performance.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
