About the role
The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism. This role involves translating business requirements into process flows, Visual Business Objects (VBOs), and technical solutions to resolve day-to-day production issues. The engineer may work as the sole technical resource on a project or lead a delivery team, ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of automation solutions. Occasional travel to client sites within the US may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement RPA solutions using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism.
Collect business requirements and translate them into process flows, VBOs, and technical solutions.
Develop solutions using C and .NET to address production issues and optimize bot performance.
Maintain technical responsibility for project delivery, either independently or as a team leader.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless solution deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in day-to-day operation of RPA bots.
Occasionally travel to unanticipated client-site locations in the US as required.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering.
Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in software engineering or RPA development.
Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) and process automation concepts.
Proficiency in C and .NET programming for solution development.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical and process designs.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for automation and production issues.
Experience in designing process flows and VBOs for RPA projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technical teams.
Ability to manage project delivery independently or lead a small technical team.
