Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven SAP Implementation Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This position requires candidates with immediate availability and a willingness to relocate.

Project manager should have hands on experience of Jira, Confluence and change management processes

Role Summary

The Project Manager will lead and manage the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, budget, and timeline. This role demands strong project management skills, deep SAP expertise, and proven ability to manage complex IT projects and drive organizational change. A minimum of two (2) SAP S/4 HANA Greenfield implementation experiences is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Plan, execute, and finalize the SAP S/4HANA implementation project according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resource allocation, and track progress, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
• Employ proven project methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and SAP Activate.
• Project Monitoring & Control:
• Utilize project management tools like Jira for tracking tasks, managing backlogs, and resolving issues efficiently.
• Manage project documentation, risk logs, and issue registers, providing structured updates and reporting.
• Adhere to and support PMO (Project Management Office) standards for governance, reporting, and quality assurance.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business process owners, functional, and technical teams.
• Manage and direct the activities of third-party vendor teams involved in the implementation.
• Change & Risk Management:
• Execute effective Change Management strategies to prepare the organization for the new system, minimizing resistance and maximizing user adoption.
• Proactively identify potential project risks and issues, developing and executing mitigation plans.
• Leverage tools like ServiceNow for managing system-related change requests and ensuring smooth transition to operations, where required.
• Communication & Reporting:
• Provide regular, concise updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status, key milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 10 years of dedicated experience as a Project Manager leading large-scale, complex IT implementations.
• SAP S/4HANA: Proven experience managing at least two (2) full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA Greenfield implementations.
• Project Management Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on application of methodologies like SAP Activate, Agile Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Key Skills:
• Jira: Hands-on proficiency in using Jira for project tracking, task management, and agile ceremonies.
• ServiceNow: Experience with ServiceNow is required for managing Change Requests and incidents within the project lifecycle.
• Change Management: Demonstrated ability to execute organizational change and manage end-user training/adoption.
• PMO: Experience operating within or adhering to PMO governance and reporting structures.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities to guide and motivate teams and manage executive-level stakeholders.
