Context
You will join a Global Markets IT team supporting Equities activities, with a strong focus on Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending. The role sits at the crossroads between Front Office booking systems and post-trade environments, requiring a solid understanding of the full trade lifecycle from booking to settlement.
The team operates in an Agile environment and covers both production support and project delivery, working closely with Front Office, Risk, and Operations stakeholders on business-critical applications.
The role requires strong exposure to booking, P&L and risk flows, combined with solid knowledge of post-trade processes including settlement, accounting, and STP.
Role
- Act as a key interface between Front Office, Operations, Risk, and IT teams
- Gather and analyze business requirements across booking, P&L, and post-trade workflows
- Perform impact analysis and propose functional solutions
- Write detailed functional specifications for development teams
- Coordinate development lifecycle and testing phases (UAT)
- Contribute to project delivery, planning, and stakeholder communication
- Provide day-to-day support on booking systems, P&L, risk, and post-trade processes
- Ensure stability and performance of business-critical applications
Profile
- 5–12 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Investment Banking / Financial Services
- Strong knowledge of Equity Derivatives and Securities Lending / Stock Borrow Loan
- Strong understanding of booking, P&L, and post-trade workflows
- Experience with Sophis or similar systems (Murex, Calypso)
- Knowledge of back-office systems (Summit, Phase3, Shadow, etc.) is a plus
- Strong SQL skills (database querying)
- Understanding of data flows / batch processing
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with Front Office and Operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $145,000 - $180,000
