Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Delivery Engineer to support cloud architecture and engineering initiatives across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. This role is ideal for an early-career technology professional with foundational cloud knowledge and a strong interest in cloud engineering, automation, DevOps, and infrastructure delivery.
The Cloud Delivery Engineer will work closely with senior cloud architects and engineering teams to understand business objectives, develop solution concepts, support proof-of-concept efforts, and assist with implementing cloud technologies that improve automation, delivery, security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior cloud architects with the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud solutions across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Support the buildout of multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid cloud models.
- Help create, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools.
- Support integration of cloud pipelines with existing DevOps systems.
- Document architecture decisions, deployment procedures, pipeline configurations, and technical processes.
- Participate in knowledge transfer sessions, technical training, and onboarding documentation.
- Support cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and PCI.
- Assist with secure configuration, monitoring controls, and compliance-related cloud activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather business needs and translate them into cloud requirements.
- Participate in discussions with vendors, product specialists, and internal technical teams to evaluate cloud technologies.
- Support enterprise architecture reviews, solution assessments, and implementation planning.
- Assist with performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud workloads.
- Help design and test workload migration strategies and disaster recovery scenarios.
- Support integration of cloud services with on-premises technologies such as VMware, Cisco, Dell, Nutanix, and related platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a Cloud Delivery Analyst, Business Analyst, Cloud Support Engineer, Infrastructure Analyst, or similar technical role.
- Foundational understanding of cloud solution design and deployment in Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
- Basic knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles, web services, and application programming interfaces.
- Ability to support cloud infrastructure creation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and assist in developing cloud-based solutions.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
