Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks a Systems Administrator Manager to join their HF Algo Trading Strat and Technology Team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Systems Administrators responsible for providing comprehensive support and supervision for a wide array of enterprise systems in the dynamic hedge fund environment. These systems include both Windows and Linux platforms, as well as critical data and communications platforms
- Offer valuable guidance and training to foster the professional growth and expertise of the team members
- Engage in close collaboration with fellow Systems Administrator Managers across the globe, leveraging business feedback to drive process improvements and establish best practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of eight years of extensive experience in system administration, with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading and managing teams
- Strong command of Windows and Linux desktop/server environments, including proficiency in clustered computing solutions
- Proficiency in end-user computing, data analysis, process automation, and generating comprehensive reports
- Ability to define objectives and performance indicators, inspire team members, and establish effective collaboration channels with other engineering and operations departments
- Ability to provide personalized and exceptional customer service
