Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks a hands-on Database Infrastructure Engineer to join their Algo Trading Strategies and Technology department.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecting, deploying, and seamlessly integrating the database frameworks and automated solutions within Windows and Linux environments
- Collaborating with software developers and trading teams to enhance and expand applications and software related to database connectivity and functionality
Requirements:
- Degree in computer science or related engineering discipline required
- In-depth understanding of the intricacies of operating system architecture, principles of information security, and network protocols
- Extensive experience with Python, Java, C#
- Thorough expertise in at least one of the database platforms (Cassandra, SQL, Server, MongoDB, etc)
