Position Summary
Responsible for assurance of quality standards through process auditing and in-process inspection of product, as well as incoming inspections of raw materials received at building 2 to ensure that specifications are met. Reports potential quality related problems to quality management. Recommends corrective actions, as required.

Position Summary
Responsible for assurance of quality standards through process auditing and in-process inspection of product, as well as incoming inspections of raw materials received at building 2 to ensure that specifications are met. Reports potential quality related problems to quality management. Recommends corrective actions, as required.
Essential Functions
- Conducts in-process inspections and audits of processes according to a set schedule to ensure product specifications are met in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
- Prepares quality reports for trend analysis and identification of problems areas.
- Assists quality management in identifying, communicating and facilitating the need for changes to enhance process and product quality.
- Coordinates collection of data for use in the repair process.
- Conducts daily audits of the repair process to ensure the work instructions are being followed and that the individuals performing the work have been trained.
- Interfaces with manufacturing and quality management when defects or deviations to specifications are found.
- Communicates potential quality problems to quality management.
- Conducts incoming inspection on components from vendors, as required.
- Records quality data and transactions.
- Communicates results in reports and assists in Corrective Action Reports as necessary.
- Provides support to the repair process during the implementation of new work instructions and changes to existing work instructions.
- Assists with the implementation of quality program(s) into manufacturing based on ISO requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Responsible for utilizing proper lifting and material movement techniques at all times.
- Actively works to improve processes in the company.
- Performs cosmetic checks on units.
- Performs Quality Audits as assigned by the direction and training of the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.
- Two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing or service environment required.
- One (1) year quality auditing experience in a reverse logistics or return environment preferred.
- Technical experience preferred.
- This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin preferred
- Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, Internet.
- Detail oriented.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.
- Flexibility to change direction frequently with little notice.
- Able to work with or near repair and test equipment.
- Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature.
- Ability to recognize defects or flaws in routine parts and/or product.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Close vision required and ability to distinguish between colors.
- Ability to stoop, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks as part of repair work.
- Prolonged periods of standing on concrete floors and moving about production and warehouse areas.
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments occasionally.
