We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Warehouse Operator 1 – Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts and location audits. Additionally, this person will perform basic research of inventory variances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cycle Count assigned parts and audit assigned locations.
- Conduct basis research of inventory variances and help find resolutions.
- Work closely with Warehouse team on inventory-related issues.
- Escalate issues to Inventory Control Lead or Manager when necessary
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
- All other duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a warehouse setting.
- Computer literate in a Windows Environment; Excel, Word, Internet.
- Ability to travel between buildings as needed – approximately 10 miles.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English; handwriting must be legible.
- Forklift, Scissor lift and pallet jack experience preferred.
- SAP and QWMS system experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic math skills, including accurate counting skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.
- Ability to work with a team of diverse individuals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
· Able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend.
· Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
· Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
