Position Summary:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all Production activities within the department in a High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) environment. This role ensures products are produced efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and quality requirements, while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
Essential Functions:
· Works under the administrative direction of the Operations Manager with broad responsibility for planning and execution within established organizational goals and practices.
· Implements and maintains production processes in accordance with internal documentation and quality standards.
· Leads, manages, and coordinates the daily activities of technicians and associates within the department, setting priorities and production sequences.
· Ensures assembly of products is performed in compliance with approved Work Instructions and company standards.
· Oversees the training of production staff to ensure understanding and proper execution of Work Instructions; provides timely performance feedback and coaching.
· Ensures the timely and accurate completion of production and training documentation.
· Directs department workflow and schedules employee work hours based on operational needs.
· Performs full range of supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, and managing employee-related transactions.
· Tracks and analyzes production performance metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
· Supports ongoing development and process improvements across assembly lines, warehouse, and service operations.
· Ensures compliance with Quality System and ISO requirements.
· Cultivates a positive, team-oriented culture through strong leadership, collaboration, and diplomacy.
· Maintains a clean, safe work environment through regular safety training, workplace hazard identification, and corrective action.
· Ensures proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) by all production staff.
· Promotes and enforces proper lifting and material handling techniques.
· Ensures immediate reporting of all work-related injuries to Human Resources and/or Environmental, Health & Safety departments.
· Adheres to and enforces all company policies and procedures.
· Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Production/Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
· 2–5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
· Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
· Experience in electronics manufacturing strongly preferred.
· Proficiency in developing and implementing manufacturing procedures.
· Familiarity with regulatory documentation standards.
· Certification in manufacturing or process improvement is a plus.

· Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.
