Position Summary:
Responsible for reviewing scheduling inbound, researching and track shipments, identifying and report root causes of discrepancies, and providing guidance to the receiving team.
Essential Functions:
· Scheduling inbound shipments.
· Tracking all inbound shipments.
· Assigning movement between buildings for trucks
· Driving the team to meet unload requirements
· Ensure trucks are checked in and hold them to appointment assigned
· Coordinate with Receiving clerks/team to stay on schedule.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Minimum one year experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
· Minimum one year forklift and scissor lift experience required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· Good organizational skills with high attention to detail.
· Computer literate in a Windows environment.
· Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin a plus.
· Ability to operate independently.
· Ability to travel between buildings within a 10-mile radius.
· Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment; hearing protection as required.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
· Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, crouch, reach, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.
· Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment; varying temperatures of heat and cold.
· Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment; hearing protection as required.
