We are currently seeking candidates for the following position!
Position Summary:
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software applications while performing/assisting the repair process. Responsible for ensuring product quality through repairing and testing of product to ensure specifications are met. Documents issues and reports potential quality related problems to management.
Essential Functions:
· Conduct tests and diagnostics of servers and components according to Work Instructions and Process Flows.
· Repair and/or replace server parts as necessary.
· Troubleshoot technical issues and complete applicable documentation; including entering repair data into the QMS shop floor system.
· Use tools and test equipment of various types, to diagnose server issues.
· Disassemble and/or reassemble units according to the applicable work instructions.
· Order correct parts using documented procedures.
· Inspect products for accurate labeling.
· Conduct data collection and analysis for use in problem solving and continuous improvement
· Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred; equivalent professional experience in server or system repair experience will be considered.
· Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with PC, System, and Server Repair and Testing.
· Minimum one (1) year technical repair experience in a related field required.
· Minimum one (1) year experience in debugging and testing of electromechanical assemblies required.
· A Certification is preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems and related software tools.
· Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual in Spanish/Mandarin preferred
· Ability to identify quality related issues and/or deflects/flaws in parts and/or products.
· Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to operate independently.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
· Close vision required and ability to distinguish between colors.
· Ability to stoop, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks as part of repair work.
· Prolonged periods of standing on concrete floors and moving about production and warehouse areas.
· Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments occasionally.
