The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the leadership and day-to-day execution of warehouse operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, movement, picking, staging, and delivery of production materials across assigned warehouse operations.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager provides direct leadership to warehouse supervisors and hourly employees and may be assigned responsibility for a specific warehouse building, shift, or functional area. The position works closely with Manufacturing, Production Control, Materials Management, Inventory Control, Quality, Shipping, and other support functions to ensure material availability and maintain effective material flow to production.
This role requires a strong floor presence, disciplined execution, and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues quickly while developing supervisors and strengthening warehouse processes and controls.
