Material Handler- 2nd Shift
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Quanex. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for working as part of a team in the moving of materials in and out of the facility in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
About the Role:
- Responsible for receiving and stocking finished goods and pulling customer orders.
- Loads bundles onto box trailers.
- Scans finished goods when received, stocked, moved, and shipped, verifying all information.
- Hooks and unhooks trailers and dolly.
- Operates door locks.
- Pulls and loads boxes using forklift.
- Records/prints inventory activity information.
- Pulls, weighs scrap and completes scrap tickets.
- Brings coil stock to lines and uses tipper to position coil stock.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:
- Two years' experience driving electric and/or forklifts.
- The ability to look up inventory locations in computer systems.
- The physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting of at least 50 lbs repetitively.
