Benefits Verification Specialist – Medical Device Industry

QUICK FACTS

Location: Remote
Duration: 3-6 month temporary position
Pay Range: $17.50/hr

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

2 years of Customer Service and/or Administrative experience
Working knowledge of health insurance industry and DME practices, strongly preferred
Experience with outbound calling, data entry, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems
Attention to detail, and capability to master and work within various programs

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

Communicates with insurance companies via phone, or payor portal
Verifies insurance benefits to determine eligibility and cost to customer
Documents and follows up on Prior Authorizations
