Job Title: Safety Manager
Location: South Bend, Indiana
Employment Type: Full-Time (Expected Contract Duration: 6 months)
Schedule: 5 x 10-hour shifts M-F 8 hours on Saturday

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to oversee electrical safety operations for a large-scale data center project. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards while fostering a strong culture of safety on-site. Per diem available
Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and enforce electrical safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific requirements. • Conduct electrical hazard risk assessments, inspections, and audits to ensure a safe work environment. • Lead Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash, and other electrical safety training for site personnel. • Investigate electrical incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. • Work closely with project managers, electrical contractors, and site personnel to maintain compliance and ensure best safety practices. • Maintain and manage safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Requirements:
✔ Data center construction experience – REQUIRED
✔ 7-year background clearance – REQUIRED
✔ Extensive knowledge of electrical safety regulations, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and best practices
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple safety priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔ Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
