Title: Software Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX & Denver, New York, and Omaha
Duration: Contract to hire
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Work independently on defined technology projects and deliver high-quality software components.
- Design, build, and maintain small tools and production features that improve system reliability and customer experience.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Node.js, TypeScript, and/or Angular.
- Contribute to both front-end and back-end development as needed.
- Conduct thoughtful and thorough code reviews to uphold team quality standards.
- Solve moderately complex technical problems, identifying and navigating potential risks or roadblocks.
- Communicate effectively within your team and with related partner teams.
- Manage your own priorities and workstreams, demonstrating strong self-direction and organization.
- Seek out mentorship opportunities and provide guidance to junior (L1) engineers when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of software engineering experience working full-stack across multiple technical domains
- Experience working with product managers & tech leadership to determine requirements, designing solutions, writing code, writing tests, deploying changes, and support
- Strong communication skill, ability to easily collaborate with rest of engineering team & cross-functional teams
- Previous NodeJS experience is a must have
- Previous Typescript experience is a plus
