Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installers and Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including heat pumps, air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, and IAQ components according to schematics and design specifications.
- Perform system troubleshooting and repairs on existing HVAC equipment, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters to identify issues within electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Read and interpret HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on residential (and some commercial) HVAC equipment including filters, belts, refrigerant levels, and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Recommend repairs and upgrades when appropriate.
- Ensure all work complies with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and environmental standards while maintaining documentation.
- Use hand tools, plumbing tools, electrical testers, and other equipment efficiently to complete installations and repairs safely.
- Communicate with management and property owners to coordinate service visits and address client needs promptly.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports for accountability and future reference.
Skills
- Excellent communication, team collaboration and positive attitude
- Installation and maintenance technician experience in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems including installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters; understanding electrical systems within HVAC units.
- Knowledge of refrigeration principles, plumbing connections, and electrical wiring.
- Experience working with HVAC design plans to ensure precise system installation aligned with specifications.
- Ability to operate hand tools efficiently; experience with equipment troubleshooting is highly valued.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC or plumbing are a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
