What You’ll Actually Do
- Manage multiple custom fabrication projects from kickoff to completion
- Translate drawings into real-world execution alongside the shop team
- Adjust timelines and priorities — often in real time
- Coordinate with welders, machinists, and leadership to keep work moving
- Build and manage BOMs, materials, and job tracking
- Solve problems as they happen (because they will)
- Communicate clearly with both internal teams and customers
What We’re Looking For (This Matters More Than Titles)
- Experience in steel fabrication, welding, machining, or job shop environments
- Strong problem solver who stays calm under pressure
- Highly adaptable — able to pivot quickly without losing momentum
- Comfortable being on the shop floor (not just behind a desk)
- Solid communication skills with both leadership and production teams
- CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) preferred but not required
