Position Summary

Quality Tube USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician as part of our Electrical Maintenance team at our Midlothian, Texas manufacturing facility.

The Electrical Technician will ensure that equipment, machinery, and systems are properly maintained, repaired, and kept in optimal working condition. This includes interpreting technical plans and manuals, applying preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and contributing to plant efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and repairs on equipment and systems 
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance 
• Assemble, disassemble, and modify machinery as needed 
• Interpret and create technical drawings for maintenance purposes 
• Report equipment status and recommend improvements 
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed thoroughly and safely 
• Collaborate with supervisors to identify and resolve critical equipment issues 
• Maintain work areas and tools in clean and safe condition 
• Use appropriate PPE  
• Perform other related tasks to support maintenance operations 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
• Experience with work order management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on production and maintenance needs.
• Electrical repair and troubleshooting

• Use of measuring instruments and hand tools 
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in steel manufacturing, tube/pipe manufacturing, ERW, metal fabrication, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial automation and electrical control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and electrical panels.
• Experience with equipment reliability, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Midlothian, Texas. The role requires regular presence on the manufacturing floor and may involve exposure to industrial machinery, noise, heat, dust, and other manufacturing conditions. Required PPE must be worn in designated areas.
